To say nothing of the subtle, sweet, dark fruit undertones which its dates and sultanas provide, in order to counteract even the slightest trace of any bitterness from the spices.

It’s a gorgeous savoury accompaniment to strong cheezes and Indian cuisine but also more than capable of acting as the base to curry of its very own.
